Title: REPEAL AND REPLACE

Summary: When one of the Four Horsepersons of the Apocalypse decides to retire early, the other three find it difficult to accept, and are a little miffed at having their fortnightly brunch-drinks-and-trivia-games disrupted by the weird newcomer.

Note: My Good Omens Exchange gift for kittyroxdive1. Omg, you had such awesome prompts! Hope you like what I’ve made of it!

Art notes: The background of the second picture is an overlay of several images: a map of the world showing climate change temps, a landfill with seagulls, and two symbols – biohazard & radioactive material.

Title: Five Times They Needed Shelter, and One Time They Didn't but Had it All the Same
Rating : SFW
Summary : Over the course of a few thousand years,  sometimes one needs to ask for shelter (yes,  I suck at summaries,  sorry)

Notes: I do apologise if the prompt wasn't exactly that, but once the plot-bunny from Hell was unleashed, I couldn't do much else. Please find enclosed lots of fluff, hospitality, a touch of angst from time to time, and a goodnight kiss to seal the deal. Happy Holidays, I hope they will be resting and full of love. Characters: Aziraphale/Crowley, the Horsepersons, Oscar Wilde (sort of)
Rating: PG-13
Prompts: 1) Every book tells two stories: the story inside the book, and the story of the book. 2) The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our life-time. -- Sir Edward Grey, 3 August 1914
Loquacious Author’s Note: Happy holidays! I combined two of your prompts and took as few historical liberties as the punchlines allowed; I hope you like this, as it felt weirdly experimental to write. With many thanks to my BFFs and fellow Wilde fans RR & NLP, who were my aid and succor, and to the ever-patient mods.

Title: A Good Road and a Good Meal
For: [livejournal.com profile] hsavinien
From: {REDACTED}
Rating: G
Request: Give me historical fic. I want to read the most richly detailed thing you can write me about the most out-of-the-way bit of history you love, preferably not set in Rome, Greece, Britain, France, Germany, or the USA (pre-European-colonization/invasion Americas is A-OK). War or peace, how's it going, who's making trouble, and what are Aziraphale and Crowley up to? Little-known and under-appreciated historical personages a plus! - any rating
Artist's Notes: Happy Christmas! Here are two illustrations for you. Since it sounded like you wanted a complete departure from the European world, I thought you might enjoy a trip to Edo/Tokugawa era Japan. Crowley is traveling the Tokaido road, selling amulets, and Aziraphale is, of course, involved in the growing artistic and literary community. I hope this is along the lines of what you were hoping for.

Title: Three score barrels and a match
Author: [livejournal.com profile] aviss
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] htebazytook
Rating: G
Prompt: Crowley/Aziraphale, a very London centric story, any rating
Summary: Remember, remember the 5th of November. In which Crowley stumbles upon a plot and enlists Aziraphale to thwart it.
Author Notes: I was going to try my hand at romance with London as a backdrop, but we got the assignment at the beginning of November, with Bonfire night happening all around me, and I could see Crowley right in the middle… so this happened. I hope you like it. Thanks to the mods for doing this another year, and to the darlings (you know who you are) for listening to me rant and helping me with this.

Art: Napoleonic Wars
For: [livejournal.com profile] _silverfox
From: Phantomseptember
Rating: G

Artist's Notes: It was great to get this prompt and the mini history lesson on the Napoleonic Wars that came with it. Marshal Ney (guy in the middle at the top) was a French commander who fought for and against Napoleon at various times. He got wounded in the neck at Smolensk, and I couldn't resist sneaking that into the picture. He was known as the last Frenchman on Russian soil, as he brought up the rear-guard in the retreat from Moscow.

Aziraphale's uniform is based off of the French cavalry uniform and Crowley's is based off of the Russian infantry officer's uniform. I took a few very slight liberties with the uniforms. Crowley probably spent most of the war telling his human army superiors that retreat was the best tactic. On the other side of the conflict, Aziraphale probably spent most of his time trying to tell his superior officers that attacking Russia was a terrible idea; both of them failed miserably in getting their superiors to listen until quite late in the conflict.

As for the flowers, the iris is the national flower of France, and the chamomile is the national flower of Russia. Aziraphale's wing is based off of an osprey's and Crowley's is based off of a rough-legged hawk's. I imagine Aziraphale would have large but delicate and drab wings and Crowley would have powerful well-cared-for wings.

Request: Aziraphale and Crowley, the New Testament.
Author's Notes: Happy holidays! With great thanks to the lovely [livejournal.com profile] irisbleufic for the beta!
Summary: The worst of it was that Crowley had already received a commendation, gleaming, from Below. He had the letter tucked into his belt, hand-signed by Dagon himself––and in genuine pig’s blood, too, not even the stamp facsimile he usually employed for this type of busywork. FINELY DONE, the letter read, THIS IS ONE FOR THE BOOKS.
