Oh, WOW. I'm utterly stunned. Thank you so much to whomever wrote this, I loved it to pieces! First of all, I really wasn't expecting all of those pairings to be used, and had to put hands over my mouth to stop myself from squealing fangirl-style when I realized that someone had incorporated them all into a fic, and done them so well. Especially the War/Pepper, since that kiss scene had me going wide-eyed and thinking that's exactly how it would happen. The exchange afterwards broke my heart into happy little bits.

Secondly, I adore the characterization to pieces. Something about Crowley saying "Bloody h…Manchester," was just perfect. It's those tiny little details that you threw into the fic that made it so believable and such a perfect imitation of the way that they talk in the book. Especially Adam. Adult Adam is so difficult to write that I'm amazed by how perfectly you've pegged him. I could really see him growing up like that, still with his childish streak and slightly simplified way of thinking. The Sims analogy was inspired, by the way, and so was Pepper trying to see if she could get two million pounds of Adam.

As for the plot, wow. Just wow. I'm astounded you put so much thought and effort into it, as well as completely thrilled. I had to read it twice through, just to make sure that everything sank in properly. Adam's conversation with Crowley about the slippery slope was excellent, as was Pepper bickering with the rest of Them about what good it did to shout when your words weren't being heard. You took ideas that are usually so difficult to express and debate, and had them talk them out, different viewpoints for everyone so that it didn't even sound like you were preaching your own ideas which is what sometimes can happen.

...And I wonder what Self Mutilation would look like. Besides scarred all over.

Right. Time for me to shut up before I start repeating myself. Just, thank you, thank you, thank you! This is an amazing Christmas present, and I am extremely grateful to you for having written it for me and having made my month.
