Yes, yes, Secret Author! This is how a story is done! The build-up, the tension, the bloody uncertainty and hope and reading faster and faster to find out what happens only to have to read it again so as to not miss all the beautiful details. It's a romance, an adventure, time travel, oh, it works on every level and I'm completely enamored. Amazing!
