Thank you so, so much. I was so...erm...conflicted about this whole thing, but I finally just decided to jump in and do it, and if it turned out Crowley has a Nazi uniform kink, well, so be it, he's a demon.

But the history is so fascinating, and it really just drives home the point that no demon can be as evil as humans at their worst, and no angel is as good as humans at their best. Aziraphale and Crowley did the best they could to fight off the supernatural forces, but they just did not have jurisdiction over human will.

The Horsepersons definitely had their glory days in that period.
