This is terrific. The language, the whole atmosphere, fits the time period well, and I love Crowley's conflicted nature and Aziraphale's gentle acceptance, and then Crowley's reproachfulness that makes Aziraphale leave. A bit of a heart-tug at the end, that sense of bitterness, of loss, of longing, of frustration with their sides, their roles. Just the whole thing is lovely.
