I read this as soon as I found out it was posted. I kept leaving the page to do other things so I could savor it. I reread parts of it. I lingered on moments. I was completely enthralled with it the whole way through.
I adore how physical they are with each other while still being in character (it's a tough balance to strike!) I also got so much out of Crowley's sensitivity to Aziraphale's discomfort. Raziel was a very interesting and brilliant OC! I loved his angelic distaste for things that smack of humanity. The mirror was perfect and Aziraphale's quiet unease was heartbreaking.
I loved Crowley's 'worship' and I squealed with happiness when Aziraphale recognized it as worship! Such a special moment! I really appreciated the stretchmarks too. Stretchmarks are such a human thing. It would be one thing for Aziraphale to be perfectly smooth and sleek while fat but the visible signs of change in his body have got to be pretty galling for him.
The domesticity....THE DOMESTICITY!!!! So lovely, cozy, and perfect.
Just, thank you. Thank you for a really glorious gift that I was completely overjoyed to receive and will treasure through every rereading (and I know there will be many!)
