Let me tell you about these acorns. I was walking my dog and trying to soak in the atmosphere and that line popped into my head and I was so pleased with it and put it in this fic. But, I'm also in the Hobbit fandom (idk if you are) and now have all sorts of ridiculous associations with acorns and feel a bit depressed about it
