Oh my god this is awesoooome!!!
I don't know when i last had this good and long a laugh!

Dear Secret Author, you might not even know yet, but you haven't only made my day, you've made my entire holiday season! You see, I'm spending christmas with my family, a family whose every member other than me loves detective novels and films and series, so when they inevitably start watching the adventures of Poirot or Miss Marple for about the millionth time, I'm finally going to be enjoying myself just as much as they are, because I'M going to be thinking of this fic and the adventures of Azi and Crowley instead :D

“On Christmas?” Crowley said.
“That’s not a very demonic thing to say.”
“What if I told you I was hoping your answer would be ‘yes’?”
Oh, Crowley is so adorable when he keeps trying too hard :D

Also, at this point, I have a suspicion that you actually sent one of the gang to spy on me, because I've just been singing O little town of Bethlehem like three times in different carolling sessions this week :D and it's one of the songs i love the most :) although now i might just be unable to sing it properly, bursting out in laughter at "in thy dark streets" :)

i adore their exchange with Hastur and Ligur - and I'M very glad they appear more "tame" than in GO :D Also, if you actually take them carolling, too... oh my god...
eeeep and you did! you did!
also, at this point, I'm fairly certain that you sent someone to spy on me. It came upon a midnight clear is my absolute favourite carol :D
“Peace on the Earth, goodwill towards men, from Heaven’s all gracious king,” Crowley sang, because he was pretty sure the other two demons would combust if pushed to do so. --> I'm glad he did, for the sake of the innocent bystanders... but I kind of want to see/hear then sing that still :) :) :)
“How do you even know the words to that?” ... Crowley asks, conveniently forgetting that he, too, does know the words and probably shouldn't :D

"Do you hear what I hear?" Poor Crowley, no one appreciates his inevitable jokes :) (I do :) )

Weird sentence that I never thought I would think or write: War's the best :D Carol-singing is a better plan to her than perfectly reasonably erasing memories, I love this so much!
See, now I'm entirely certain one of them came to spy on me, we sang We three kings in a Christmas concert! Although, not like "Ouch! Star of wonder..." :D

... now I want to hear Hastur's 'fa la la's. What a weird holiday wish...

I was busy laughing at "Do you know what I know" and the pun that would follow... but then my mind just went into panic mode, like "alert! alert! douche-y superior alert!"
(and the extent of my panic might make more sense once all the fics are revealed...)

"In fact, when Ligur—irritated and unafraid of the archangel as only someone of fairly low intelligence for self-preservation could be—told him grumpily that the angel had been making them sing carols, Gabriel even looked pleased." This might be my favourite sentence in this amazing tale describing this absolute wonderful mess of an investigation :D And the rest of the back-and-forth between Azi and Gabriel comes in as a close second :)
I was wrong, the argument conducted between an archangel and a duke of Hell entirely in christmas carol quotes skyrockets out of the crowd of awesomeness :D

Oh, no, not Santa- wait, what? not *this time*? is there a potential scary sequel? XD (or is this referring to the Hogfather? :D )

This took a surprisingly deep and grim turn - and Ligur still makes me laugh completely inappropriately. Which, wow, I did not know I would be in for such a rollercoaster.

Aww, poor Adam... I think basically any student can sympathise - even I am probably still trying to make up for Christmases spent exhausted and studying for exams or feeling bad for not studying enough for them because of the holiday... and then there are the concerns of messing it up for friends and family...
but, anyway, Crowley's soliloquy for Christmas is beautiful.

"Adam beamed. It was a glorious sight, one that shone bright enough to distract any human, even from the presence of an actual skeleton in a robe. Death shuffled sheepishly behind Famine, the height of surreptition." --> See, this is so full of entirely too vivid scenes that make me chuckle (and spill my tea), and i adore all these little details!

“And another one we didn’t need to be here for at all,” Crowley said brightly. --> well, at least someone is aware of their contributions to stopping the apocalypse :D
