And yeah, Aziraphale's in a bit of a tight spot here—wanting quite genuinely to help Crowley but knowing that his first allegiance is to Heaven—so he has to make some unsatisfactory compromises. And of course, eventually, he gets tired of making such unsatisfactory decisions, and so switches his first allegiance to Crowley. XD
