That's the beauty of truly wonderful characters - they speak for themselves, if we know how to listen :)

There are other significant things in this story that I loved... Anathema's calm deliberation of how her life was going to unfold. How physicality is a 'perk', and clearly enjoyed by both. The description of A/C's first time. Oh my (fans self). The metaphor of the wine stain... the metaphor of the tapestry unravelling. Those really got me.
