Oh, thank you so very much, Secret Writer!!! I woke up to this, and now I am in a fabulous mood for the day. I love the setting and the lecherous Romans and the dates and everything, and they're both so in character and completely wonderful. The opening had me in stitches, and I was giggling like a madwoman throughout the whole thing. And oh, the image of them at the baths, my my!

The angel colored. "I should hope so!"

"I mean, really terrible. That was probably the worst kiss I've had in four thousand years..."

"Yes, that's enough, thank you," came the cross response.

That is just brilliant. And then it all being reversed at the end was inspired!
