I really liked it in the book when Crowley's eyes were finally revealed, and I realised I hadn't seen much fic on it. It's not really happy-happy the way a lot of Christmas stories are, but by the time I'd gotten to the end I didn't know what to do with it to make it happy-happy, so I'm glad you enjoyed it!
