Summary: Aziraphale looking "hella badass" in some heavenly armor, while Crowley displays his fondness for a certain flaming sword.
Note: Happy Holidays Interrobam! I know the original prompt was "lounging at his feet" and I told Crowley that but he stubbornly refused to do as he was asked. Aziraphale was too preoccupied with the other things the demon was doing to get a proper thwart in. I hope this works all the same.

I love so much about this! The touch of color in Crowley's eye, his impish expression. The beautiful feathers! And the rings on Aziraphale's hand (and Aziraphale's hand itself)! And all the little details on the sword.

Oh yes...

I like to think that back in the day, Aziraphale was pretty solid. It creates a greater contrast with his modern day poof and his continuing bulk(of a softer, baked goods driven variety) would be an echo of that the same way Crowley's eyes and shoes and general snaky qualities are an echo of what he used to be.

My prompter was very specific on the badass part so I was hoping he came out that way. Most of the details got lost in this version because there was no way to include the whole armor design and still get Crowley in there the way he wanted to be. I'll probably post the rest of the design after the exchange is over.

Okay, I'm back. First of all, sorry for being late in responding to this. It's finals week, so I haven't been able to check on lj for a while and I never thought my gift would show up so fast. But none of that matters now because oh my Manchester this is the greatest Christmas gift ever. I have to say, I most definitely do not have an issue with the position change, Crowley is even more delicious and subby at waist height. His expression is absolute perfection, it's exactly what I was trying to describe in my prompt and so much more. I love all the details. The carved sword (with snake!), Crowley's eyes, the feather patterns on the armor, Aziraphale's hand, Crowley's piercings, Aziraphale's wings around him hot damn. Everything fills me with such unspeakable fangirlish glee that it's hard to write actual words instead of just frenzied keyboard mashing as my comment. I just. I love everything. I love the title. I love the art style. I love the composition. I love this picture. It's amazing and you should feel amazing. Thank you so so so much.

Also, sorry for rambling, it's almost midnight and it's finals weeks and I'm so excited and my brain is not at 100% right now.
