A week later, Symphonia was walking through the fields and met another strange man-shaped being. This one was named Famine, and he was very thin and dressed all in black. He stood near a crop of wheat that withered to dust as the farmers despaired.
When he saw her, he smiled. "Why, what a cute feline! The mice that eat this wheat might starve, and then what would you eat? I will make sure it becomes inedible only for humans. I wouldn't wish for you to be hungry." Symphonia was very happy to hear this, and purred happily at him.
8.
Famine decided to call her Hob, which was also not her real name. for a few days, she followed him, watching as he curdled milk and spoiled food. She made sure they never went near John's cave.
Eventually she crept away to find food for John, and although it was now harder to find, humans would always help her out.
9.
This time John was not well. He had been writing and writing, staying up all night while he ate his mushrooms and had visions.
Symphonia could also read, because she was a very special cat, and she saw the words John had written were about the strange human-shaped beings she had met on the island. Now she knew they were supposed to be a team who worked to destroy the world.
Symphonia didn't like it very much, but she knew John's writing was meant to come true. So she realized she must bring them all together...
10.
She found the three person-shaped beings around the island, but when they saw her, she quickly ran away. They were each disappointed she had left them and wanted her company again, so they gave chase. They followed her for a long way, all the way up the mountain and down into John's cave.
11.
There they met a fourth being. This one was in ashen gray robes, and he didn't look like a man at all. He was a skeleton with glowing blue lights in his eye sockets, and he carried a scythe. He was named Death, and he was considering reaping John's soul.
12.
Symphonia sat on John's lap and stared pleadingly up at Death, who sighed.
WELL, I HAVE TO WAIT A FEW MORE YEARS ANYWAY, he said. APPARENTLY, THERE ARE MORE PROPHECIES TO BE WRITTEN. BUT CAN YOU STOP BEING SO CUTE NOW? IT'S ACTUALLY REALLY HARD TO CONCENTRATE.
She purred at him, but she didn't stop being cute. It really wasn't possible anyway.

I also loves John's @_@ eyes :D
And Famine is like "Oh no, you're too cute not to have food anymore, I will only let humans starve", how considerate of him :'D
I love that the cat brought them together! Curious to see what happens next!

I also love Death, and all the horseperson designs. They're so distinctive and the colors really work well for the style.
