The concept actually went thru a few iterations (during which poor Pepper had a bit of an accident) but it mostly worked out in the end as Wensleydale became a Giant Squid himself! Anyhow, Happy Holidays!!!

I think this is probably the most creative thing I've seen! I love it!


I always loved how imaginative the Them were and this feels like what it must be like in their heads during one of their games. I also love the details on the three Them caught up in the squid. Their outfit choices, their expressions. And the squid's glasses on top of his head! So cool!

Dear artist, this is really adorable! I can only imagine how Wensleydale is feeling about his sudden surplus of limbs, but I hope that he's enjoying it as much as everyone else is. The colors are very cozy and I'm glad his glasses grew with him. I hope the Them all have lots of fun and go to bed smelling of brine and sunshine, as a proper sea-based adventure should end.
