Oh, God, this is wonderful. What amazing eye for detail.
I love the colours and how they blend into each other, and the ominous way we see the Riders as shadows in the distance conveys that eerie atmosphere of doom and finality so well. Oh, and the symbolism, how they've all got their icons with them, and with Death riding last, coming in the wake of them all.
Are the colours of the sky supposed to represent the traditional white, red, black, and pale of the horses, or is that just me never having watched a sunset before?
Thank you so much, secret artist, this is stunning!
Oh, wow, that's beautiful! The sky is so amazingly painted. And the silhouettes are so clearly defined-- it's perfectly easy to tell which horseperson is who. Great job!
This just gives me chills - the terrifying beauty of the sunset, the silhouettes (and sword and crown and scales and scythe). So amazingly eloquent in its simplicity.
