MMmmm hmmm. It'll be another 17 years or so before the most significant part of Azi's friend's VERY LARGE MANUSCRIPT will get published, in three volumes against his will--partly a marketing issue, and also partly to do with British paper rationing still in effect long after the war.

But Aziraphale likes to go up to Oxford and talk with his friend in Old English, because they are the only two beings in the world in the early 19th century who pronounce and understand it properly and fluently.

Crowley kind of had the hots for Indy, and would have liked to have had an espionage situation that required them to spend some time together smoking opium in a tent with a lot of fur rugs and silk pillows. Alas, it never quite worked out that way.

As much as I love Indy, bringing him into this story in a serious way would be just chaos.
