Summary: Pepper is home for Christmas, and everywhere she turns people are being ridiculous.

Adam and Pepper are teenagers and they totally wind up falling for each other, but neither of them is going to make a move because they're both super aware of the fact that Pepper has spent their whole childhood making this big point over not being treated like a girl but they wind up getting over it somehow and it's adorable.
