Crowley kind of had the hots for Indy, and would have liked to have had an espionage situation that required them to spend some time together smoking opium in a tent with a lot of fur rugs and silk pillows. Alas, it never quite worked out that way.
But... Indy doesn't LIKE snakes. Crowley never stood a chance. XD
