:D!!! Thank you so much! I absolutely love this concept of their situation after the not-end-of-the-world - it's like anything too 'normal' for them would just seem weird. And the total unthinking ridiculousness of the way that Shadwell continues with his relentless quest for... something... despite living in domestic bliss with a 'scarlet wumman' (who continues to hold regular seances) is perfect.
