This is so great. I am a sucker for a noirish narrative voice, and Crowley's is perfect, all the more so for the times when he breaks character to comment on the ridiculousness of the words that just came out of his mouth. And, of course, the story itself is wonderful, though I think my very favorite part has to be Pepper, activist-turned-dame.
Okay also I was pretty much doomed to love this unconditionally because I mean you have the KGB and MI6 officers in there. I mean, really.
