*__________* This is beautiful. I love the Horsepeople, and you have captured them beautifully - they're very human, but not too human; you never let us forget what they truly are. All your descriptions of them - especially of Pollution, whom I have a soft spot for - are absolutely beautiful and spot-on. And ooh, Famine/Pollution. Those scenes were both utterly hot and very beautifully written. I also love their dynamic and the way you characterised Pestilence and the contrast between him and Pollution. And ooh, the hotel bedroom. *___*
He has the common decency to hope that taking it like a man will buy Pollution time enough to get away.
