All right, so - you guys pulled this over on me perfectly. It's one of my off-days, not my turn to do the mod posting, and it didn't really even occur to me that you'd post my gift on my birthday, because we're running so short on art-gifts as it is and this one, I daresay, would have been a spectacular note to end on, because...well, because.
Oh Aziraphale, your frumpy shirt/jumper/whatever it is <3 And yet there you are dangling a tape out the window, all the while telling Crowley to watch the road. It's probably the Handel, Water Music, which your darling really does love. Put down the tape, angel. See, I'll fully confess to that particular prompt - that is, the epic battles they now have over whose music they listen to on longer drives - is CoT 'Verse headcanon I just hadn't got around to turning loose, and I wondered whether it would end up being claimed by an artist or a writer. The fact it's been claimed by an artist is just perfect, because I now have a visual to work from if I ever decide to write it (and a brilliant visual at that; you clearly did image research on the interior of a vintage Bentley, because you got it dead on, that is just what one looks like on the inside). Also: BULLET-HOLE WINDSCREEN TRANSFERS.
I'm willing to bet that the poor sod crossing the road is some local who has seen them around, knows exactly who they are, and is like oh dear God it's that eccentric couple in the next cottage up from the Morrisons' aaaaaaaaaaaaieeeeee. If that scene was happening in central London, it'd hardly be a blip on the radar (and probably less potentially fatal). But, you know: miraculous escapes. It'll be all right.
Saying thank you really pales in comparison to the rest of what I have to say, but you'll have the rest of it regardless. Just not here ;) Happy Holidays, you. If the world really was ending tomorrow, this year's Exchange would be...enough.
