This was really great! I loved Crowley's characterization, and the fun of seeing the stereotypical demon-summoned-by-foolish-children scene from the exasperated demon's point of view. It was the details that made it great, like Crowley pointing out the misspelled word in the circle to trap him, and correcting the kid's pronunciation of 'hallowed'.

I must admit, about a third of the way through I wasn't sure what you were going to do with the rest of it (it seemed to be wrapping up so nicely!), but then PLOT appeared. Bringing holy water to the game, that's just not fair! And having the tables turned at the end so we could see Crowley both pretending to be fearsome and being himself throughout the course of the fic worked very well!

I especially liked the references to canon, like Crowley doing 'something really weird with his tongue' and the bit about how he could 'sense spooky.' A+

Overall, excellent writing, characterization, and pacing!

Some lines I particularly liked:
>Crowley hadn’t done that sort of thing in a while and he really, really didn’t miss it.
>"Honestly, I just can’t be bothered to get around to any destruction and chaos today."
>“The spell?” Crowley smirked. “And where do you suppose that came from?....What did the Bible tell you about people claiming to do magic?”
