It was really important to me that Crowley view Carmine as more than an obstacle, I think it would be very hard for me to like him otherwise, and I'm really happy that came across, along with Crowley caring about Aziraphale even though Aziraphale is barely in this tiny fic.
Thank you for this prompt! It really made me think about a lot of things to do with storytelling, and all the ways I've seen that this sort of story could go that I never liked.
