You're totally right about Aziraphale being more like Indiana Jones than Crowley is—though of course I'd argue that the two of them together are the most like Indiana! Their expertises complement each other so well, and that's one of the reasons they spend so much time walking around in the jungle before reaching Palenque—the jungle is where Crowley is the expert, and Palenque is where Aziraphale is. Together, they can safely reach the ruins AND appreciate them. XD

I'm very flattered by your admiration of my tight plotting! I often think I have little *too much* plot in my stories (especially this one, which had to have the tone of a blockbuster action film), so it's heartening to hear you enjoyed it. 😊
