I knew a bit of the history of the deciphering Mayan glyphs, so it was very exciting to watch Aziraphale make these discoveries! Crowley being the snake whisperer! :) Aziraphale being ready to carry a trunk full of books through the jungle! :) "Besides, Crowley thought as he paused again to make sure Aziraphale was still following easily, a smile creeping unbidden across his face at the mere sight of him, I did find a treasure." - gets me every time XD <3 This was a crossover fic of my dreams, thank you!
