I've seen a lot of crossover between GO fans and Raffles fans, so I'm sure there are people who do appreciate older lit or who would appreciate more of it if they were exposed to it!
Ooh, a gentleman detective :D I'll add him to my list! I'd like to try reading French, because I did take classes in it for years, and I watch youtube videos in French to practice, but I've never been sure if I could actually read a book that wasn't meant for learners. But maybe this is the opportunity to do that :)
