Author here, thank you so much! It is so nice to hear that I did enough to build the connection between them, you always wonder if you've shown enough scenes so the romance makes sense. It's hard with historical AUS to have a somewhat realistic ending but also enabling the couple to be together in the end, so I knew I had to figure out a solution for these two.
