I got to hand it to you, you're getting bonus points for not running away screaming when you got your prompt. :P It was one of those things I'd imagine would be very difficult to get right, so I had not expected you to include all aspects of it, and actually have it make sense. O_O *bows down* And of course, I am a big fan of the hurt/comfort, especially the scene where Aziraphale realizes he's pucked clean of feathers and Crowley rakes his fingers through his hair, obviously uncomfortable with both his sort-of-good deed and the angel's condition. Ouuuuch. Poor, poor dears.
“No, no need,” interrupted Aziraphale quickly as he sipped his tea through tight lips. “Love thy enemy, turn the other cheek, forgiveness, all of that is built in, you know. I’m fine, really.”
Oh, how bitter. This was actually pretty interesting, because an earthbound angel wouldhe deal with it? It explain why he chose to offer his body as a punching bag, though.
