Title: The Pros and Cons of Being an Apocalyptic Horseperson
Giftee:
artemismuse
Giver:
kalamburd
Characters: DEATH, War, Pollution, Aziraphale, Crowley (A/C if you squint)
Rating: PG
A/N: To my chosen one: I tried to include as many of your wishes as possible and I really, really hope you think my stuff is okay.
When War decided on her place of vacation she picked something cold and
vacant, just so she could escape those petty humans for a little while. What
she didn't take into consideration when she went on dog sledging over
Greenland was that her animal companions might be affected by her like
humans are. Now, half of 'em dead, the other half wounded, she's left
debating on which way to go. The GPS turned, surprisingly enough, out
to be useless in the middle of nowhere, when you actually need it.
Horseperson or not, you're not always that good when it comes to orientating
without the aid of modern technology. Someone, somewhere, is going to suffer
greatly for this.

Title: C-c-ch-hold!
Summers in Scotland can be quite warm and delightful, as we all know. The
country is especially nice I you're looking for rivers full of oil, toxins
and dead fish. However, nice weather is not a guarantee for the water to
have the right temperature. It's okay once you manage to wet your whole
body, but the stomach is always the hardest part. Always

Title: Wish You were Here
Famine, being the workaholic he is, never takes a break from his purpose.
DEATH, being nicer than his name suggests, sent a post-card to the missing
Horseperson. Brownie points to whoever can figure out witch country he
visited at the time he sent this

Hint, although the winters there are freezing He-Manchester, the summers can
get pretty nice. Nice enough to wear Bermuda shorts!
Title: Happy New Year, Angel
What's a better way of spending the beginning of the New Year than on a
rooftop with booze, a wonderful view of the city and a friend of six
millennia?

~end~

And Pollution's rainbow-coloured water really shouldn't be so pretty... ":-D

Date: 2007-12-19 03:15 pm (UTC)Capturing the elements, esp. water, is one of the hardest tasks for me. And there you've done it, gorgeously. I have to concur that the oil slick shouldn't be so pretty ^^ (And secretly, I believe Famine did NOT take a break from work, and that's him with the poodle. Omg, a poodle.)
Death is ADORABLE. I love that the doesn't address the card, just puts a name on and assumes it will make it to the right place. Which of course it will, because it hasn't any choice XD
Schmoop! And I bloody love the multi-coloured stars. Is it London smog coming up? And are those duck feathers, or flames from below?
Gorgeous stuff. And fun :D Double points.

Date: 2008-01-06 08:53 am (UTC)There's too much about these that I love for me to go through listing them ALL, but the compositions for all of them are brilliantly conceived and may I just say that the very CONCEPT of DEATH in a photo booth is the most hysterical and inspired thing I've ever encountered.
Wonderful, wonderful work.
