I also especially liked the ambiguity in this bit:

Then your brethren they remain.

Your place is elsewhere...
Crowley, Aziraphale, or even both. The two odd ones out, put on different sides so they'd each have someone to relate to. If Az and Crowley were both angels or both demons, I doubt they'd have become friends. Ah, ineffability. ;)
