*blushes madly and hugs you very squishily* Methinks I'll be having this silly grin on my face for the rest of the day, and all because of your wonderful comment. Thank you for reading and liking it!

Crowley in RAF uniform is quite a lovely image, innit? I've always tried to picture just how the two of 'em might react to and interact in a war, and Crowley's bravado-wrapped vulnerability never fails to strike me whenever I read the book, so writing this definitely gave me much fun exploring them. Jealous!possessive!Aziraphale was also terribly fun to write too. I feel awfully bad about my reply being so much shorter than your long and lovely comment, but I'm incredibly chuffed that you enjoyed all the various bits that I worked in.

And yep, that bloke was Chaucer. *g* I've a massive fondness for that bloke and his works (a massive fondness for Medieval Literature in general, really) and I couldn't resist slotting him in. It was between him and good ol' Will Shakespeare, but I figures Shakespeare might have been more Crowley-influenced than Aziraphale.

Again, thank you! And a Merry Christmas to you too! *cuddles you and your comment*
