LOVELY. I haven't seen many fics like this - just pure friendship and spot-on The Them interaction, but with echoes of their natures and their Apocalyptic counterparts.
The beginning was so cute, with Wensley's parents' treatment of their little Picasso making me giggle. I love how their favourite colours and reasons for liking them echo the three Horsepeople counterparts, and Adam too echoes death in being bloody hard to define. Agnes was spot-on too, and I loved her and Adam's interaction!
And oh, their speculations of the prize money and their plans was so reminiscent of GO itself. The spaceship and hole-digger made me giggle again and the ending made me go, "Aww!".
