Heh, that's so them! I love the snake's expression, and Aziraphale trying to save his books. Lovely work!

Oh, poor Aziraphale - not the books!

I so love the expression on the snake! I'm also particularly fond of Aziraphale's outfit.

Oh no worse fate can befall a bibliphile. Crowley's expression is delightful.

HAHAHA! XD Oh Azirphale. Yes, Crowley can come back again, the books would be gone forever. But the poor terrified snakey doesn't deserve that! XD Love it.

Haha, thank you for commenting! This was one of those times when Aziraphale was too much of a bastard even for Crowley. XD

Love it! Both their expressions are so well done, and as a fellow artist I must give you kudos for how well you pulled off Aziraphale's pose. I know *I* probably would have been stabbing things in frustration, anyway. >____> Awesome work!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm glad you like the pic and I cannot wait to see your work if you drew this year(...even if you didn't heh).

I'm not supposed to be here (too much writing still to do *g*), but having written a story some years back on a similar theme, I had to take a look...and it's wonderful! Well done, mystery artist!

That's gorgeous! I love the clarity of Aziraphale and Crowley (and Crowley's expression!) against the fiery shapes in the background (and love the fire there). Beautiful!

Oh, that's nice. Particularly Crowley-- very convincing serpentine body language, there.

Lol, serpentine body-language is certainly the most unique comment I've ever gotten.

But really, thank you for your feedback, I am rather sinfully proud of Crowley here. ^_^

I love the motion of this picture! It's so well done! And Crowley's face...it's very *giggle* convincing.

Well done!

This is absolutely brilliant. Crowley's face probably just made my life. I'd love to imagine Aziraphale's thought process with this. "I'd have to give up my books! But, wait, I have a demon who always hangs around. That's kind of bad. Bit of a vanity, really, spending quality time with one's enemy. Sure, I'll use him."

Thank you so much for this. :)

Haha, you're very welcome, my dear recipient. I admit I was nervous whether anyone would -get- this pic, but I should have known GOE is full of witty, intelligent geeks. XDD

Actually when I looked up the Bonfire of Vanities on wiki, it said Savonarola wanted to burn everything that 'tempted people to sin'...and it appears the same thought went through mine and Aziraphale's head.

I'm so glad you like the pic. Thank you so much for your feedback and happy holidays!

I don't actually know why Crowley's protesting really. You'd think being considered bad enough to get tossed in one of these would get him a commendation downstairs. xp

Lovely, lovely work. It's stunning, and although there's a bit of comedy there, there's also the horror of the bodies on crosses in the background, the burning, and Crowley being afraid for him.

Oh dear...I wonder how how Aziraphale is going to make it up to poor Crowley once he gets a new body. I'm echoing the love of Crowley's snakey expression of horror. So perfect. XD Bravo, Secret Artist!

I love the dynamism of the poses and your use of color and texture!
I'm especially fond of Crowley's expression. HOW DID YOU GIVE A SNAKE FACIAL EXPRESSION? O_O *_*

The contorted pose and Crowley's expression make this a scary image. I got chills from the fire and the desperation!

No Aziraphale, don't do it!!!! Don't give them anything!

Poor Crowley, he's such a pretty snake, too. But oh, the books!

Haha I love your use of body language here! It's so obvious that Aziraphale would rather give them Crowley than his books.
