Date: 2006-12-01 11:06 pm (UTC)And Aziraphale is skating with his umbrella. Of course he is. It helps him balance, that's why he's still standing up. XD And the background is made of wintery happiness. And scarves!!! And Crowley's face. I want to cuddle him forever because he's about five years old in this picture, as he should be. Windswept cowlick and all. I... just.... *loves you madly, darling*

Date: 2006-12-02 03:15 am (UTC)Hahahahaha! Exactly. And he's sneaky enough to get away with it, because really, what if it got stolen? And poor, poor Crowley. There's a reason they're practicing when it's dark (ignoring the pretty lights here for a bit). No one will be able to see his falls except Aziraphale and himself.

Date: 2006-12-01 11:25 pm (UTC)This is so wonderfully sweet. I want to know what happens next - after Crowley grudgingly accepts Aziraphale's hand...
... as long as it leads to warm eggnog and naughty sex, of course.

Mmm, yes. I second that. (Apropos of nothing, if you take away the slash at the end of the URL, I think the big version of the art will appear.)

Date: 2006-12-01 11:35 pm (UTC)Where to begin? The wintry background is a bit sentimental, and gorgeous (you rock that blending, honey). I love the little touches, like the awesome scarves and Aziraphale's umbrella (I am really enjoying the image of him skating with it . . . almost want to try drawing that, actually). But honestly? The thing that really got me from the minute I clicked was Crowley's splayed-open pose.
Mmmm. Oh man. And he looks so petulant! Just wonderful. Bravo!
What a great start to the exchange. Man, now I get to be excited about every day this month (and have something to distract me from my

Bravo! Encore! Standing ovation!

Date: 2006-12-05 06:10 am (UTC)(I like to subscribe to the idea you've used in one of your stories, btw. The one where Aziraphale learns to ride a bicycle, I think. It'd make sense for Crowley not to fall so much after he's already fallen.)

Crowley's FACE. And his hair. And crooked sunglasses. And Aziraphale's s;ldkfsd umbrella. And the slight suggestion of the space where wings would be, behind Crowley, and the buildings you can just see in the distance, and the colours, and *keyboardsmashes happily*.
I want to surgically remove all the sucky bits from winter and replace them with this image, and the fuzzy feelings it generates.

Date: 2006-12-02 09:43 am (UTC)Of course, Crowley's face is the best part. (I guess he knows a certain angel will be gloating over this -in an annoyingly cooing and mock-pitying way- for the next few millennia...) And am I the only one to think that his whole pose looks rather suggestive, especially with Aziraphale right between his legs? *ggg*
The scarf just has to have a backstory!
Here's my version (sort of):
C: (gets out of Bentley) "Ready, angel?"
A: "Of course, my dear! But please tell me you do not intend to go ice-skating like /this/!"
C: "Wasn't my bloody idea, after all!"
A: "You are going to catch a cold and get yourself discorporated. I won't have that for Christmas, you know?" (hurries back into shop)
C: (mutters) "Yeah, would've been too easy."
A: (returns with scratchy and very un-stylish scarf that smells of moth-balls and wraps it around the demon's neck) "There, dear. Now let's go."
C: *deathglares*
A: (looks righteously self-satisfied)

Date: 2006-12-02 03:32 pm (UTC)Oh my God! That's gorgeous! The frosty background and Aziraphale's umbrella and scarf. But the best thing, in a mile, in the world, is Crowley's face.
Secret artist, I love how you can show so much about the relationship between the two just by little gestures. Aziraphale reaching out his hand just because he knows Crowley would attempt to discorporate him if he even thought about helping him up. It's so them.
This is better than anything I could have wished for. Thank you so much.
