Title: two men sat, sharing a bottle of wine
Recipient: [livejournal.com profile] peach_megumi
Pairing/Characters: Aziraphale/Crowley
Rating: G
Notes: The prompt "Somehow, after things fall apart, they always seem to end up sitting together in the rain." which I translated into 'Crowley and Aziraphale, shell-shocked by the notpocalypse, getting drunk before the international express fellow shows up to claim the sword that Aziraphale is currently sitting on.' I hope you enjoy it!

Can I just say this is breathtaking? The rain here parallels the Eden scene in the Beginning so beautifully, and their touching hands, their touching hands, oh goodness. I'm smitten <3

This is really, really, really good. Are Aziraphale's wings the ones sheltering them from the rain while Crowley's are on the ground?

thank you! <3 and yup, Aziraphale's wings are up, and Crowley's are down. They /might/ be bending the laws of physics slightly, behind their shoulders, so that one wing is occupying the same physical space as another... but that's not really a problem for either of them.

Oh my god, I want to put this on my wall and stare at it for ever.

Their hands! And the rain that beats against the wings and then the droplets hanging at their ends. Stunning work! <3

This is just stunning! The wings are just gorgeous and I am in love with Crowley's eyes! And just the whole concept of sharing a bottle in the rain is so perfectly captured here! :D

This is an absolutely beautiful picture. I love how they're so connected, the touching hands, the shelter, the way they are holding each other up. It's so wonderful, thanks so much for sharing!

Oh.

Oh, my.

This was everything I wanted out of that prompt.

I cannot say thank you enough times for this. For one thing, it's absolutely gorgeous. For another, I love the details! Their wings, and their postures, and their hands! And, you got exactly what I was hoping for, that way of aligning it with their sitting together in the rain after the fall of Eden. It's lovely and wonderful. Thank you!

I'm so glad you like it! I... I have to confess that I was working on a comic based on one of your other prompts, but ended up completely stalled, so this was a last-minute replacement.

I'm sure that would have been lovely, but this is made even more amazing by the fact that it's a "last-minute". It's wonderful!

The moonlight on the wet wings is beautiful. I love the way they're sort-of not looking at one another, but their hands touch. Just a gorgeous image.
