Title: In Vino Veritas... Right?

Dear meganbobness, I wish you the most pleasant holidays and a happy year ahead! I loved your prompts, and even though I wish I could incorporate more elements, I still hope you like my present. Happy holidays!

This series reminds me both of medieval paintings/illustrations and certain works by the Finnish artist Hugo Simberg (his Garden of Death for example, but others too...) and also it does it's own thing. And gives me happiness. ¤3¤

Thank you! Fun fact, Simberg is one of my favourite artists, I would love to see the book illustrated in his style :)
I'm glad that you like it!

It's exquisite! I love the style! I actually thought it was a piece of stained glass for a minute! The visual representation of Crowley's 'cracked' halo is absolutely gorgeous and I adore contrast between Crowley's sharp features and Aziraphale's soft ones. I LOVE AZIRAPHALE'S SCRAGGLY-ASS WINGS! Crowley's wings are sleek and lovely and here's Aziraphale with wings like he's been through a hurricane. This is just so lovely and I really appreciate it! Thank you so much for this holiday perfection!

I love the style of this. The Medieval layout, colour and background feel melds beautifully with the modern art of the characters. Crowley's broken halo is a very sweet touch.

Thank you a lot!
I actually had to think for a while about how to portray Crowley's demonic nature, because it turned out that demons didn't have much of a place in orthodox paintings, so I had to improvise. I'm glad it works!

I was really drawn to the details in their hands and faces. Also noted the tartan scarf! Lovely work.

These are simply great! Destined to become iconic, if you'll pardon the pun. Also, I adore Aziraphale's dark curly hair.

Oh, this is lovely! I love that Crowley still has a halo, even if it is broken.

Terrific work!

Thank you!! :D
I though that if I were to portray them in this style, Crowley would absolutely have a halo!
