*SQUEE* I'm so glad you like! I like quirky traditions, myself--and, actually, that tradition was what prompted this whole comic in the first place. For reasons as yet unknown, your prompts put mistletoe into my head and I wondered, "Hm, wonder WHY folks kiss under it? There's probably some juicy historyfic that we can get out of that!" And then I found out about this, and, well...the rest really IS history. ^_^

Very cool! I was beginning to suspect something of the sort -- one doesn't, usually, say to oneself "I have a gift picture to draw, I think I'll compose a whole comic book instead!" There had to be a certain narrative imperative behind it all, I thought ....
