This list will remain open for claiming until midnight EST on Saturday, October 21st. Comments are currently enabled (but screened, as with when you entered your prompts in the first place). Please choose your top 3 choices of prompt-sets for which you think you'd want to create. You choose sets by number, not by individual prompts within the sets!
1. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Give me historical fic. I want to read the most richly detailed thing you can write me about the most out-of-the-way bit of history you love, preferably not set in Rome, Greece, Britain, France, Germany, or the USA (pre-European-colonization/invasion Americas is A-OK). War or peace, how's it going, who's making trouble, and what are Aziraphale and Crowley up to? Little-known and under-appreciated historical personages a plus! - any rating.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Angelic (and demonic) sex and gender are mutable. Aziraphale/Crowley are women-shaped or nonbinary beings at the moment. (Modern or historical.) - any rating, smut welcome.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Superhero AU or crossover focusing on Anathema or the Them. - any rating.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Diverse body types, race, and gender; happy endings, snark, consent, minority representation, silliness, genderqueering, cleverness, adventure, sailing ships, Kraken and other old creatures, geekiness, stories set other places than England or the US, wings, non-human biology.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: The new Aziraphale and Crowley casting, D/s dynamics, pain games, humiliation (sex-related or not), stereotypical gender roles, successful apocalypses. Non-Crowley demons or Horsepersons having sex with anybody.
2. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: What if Crowley and Aziraphale had adopted Adam as a baby
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: The four horsemen moonlight as "regular people" for a night on the town, getting up to various shenanigans and misunderstandings. (they conclude that humans are cray and need no help destroying themselves. Maybe have a change of heart after one last adventure??)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Daemons AU! any characters.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Fluff, domesticity, genderbender, crack, found family feels, h/c, enthusiastic consent, modern AU, HS AU, crossovers,
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: violence, gore, poor decisions/sexual activity under influence (drunkeness/drugs), non-con, dub-con
3. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Who Crowley was before the fall? Fic or Art about his life in heaven, bonus points for the fall :). General rating, no pairing (unless there's Ramial from Falling Hazard (fic by nasa) present cause I totally ship them, no pressure tho)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: How did The Them met? Who was friends with who first and how the gang formed? Or just baby Them shenanigans please! (Gen, no pairing)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: A/C on a 2017 London plant fair. Crowley got even more into plant care after the armagedon't and this year he decided to compete for the nicest house plant award (working title). How did Aziraphale and Crowley adjust to modern times? Will Aziraphale charm the jury so Crowley wins and then pretend it was the right thing to do and probably evil fighting activity somehow? Did Crowley get nicer to his plants over the years? Write it to find out! (Or draw the house plant fair I guess). General or Teen (a/c are in a relationship)
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Silly and nice stories, angst based on misunderstanding and self loathing but with good ending, Crowley being a dork who pretends to be cool, Aziraphale who isn't the best or nicest person but tries to keep the appearances cause he's an Angel after all, angels and demons being nonbinary <3
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: any sexual stuff, Aziraphale being too good and righteous
4. PAIRING: Anyone
PLOT BUNNY: Cross Country/Continent Road Trip with drama only the characters from Good Omens could cause. Maybe even Crowley and Aziraphale road tripping with the THEM, and all the chaos that goes along with it. (It's always Pepper's fault, but no one will admit it).
RATING CHOICE ONE: G - T
PAIRING: Hastur and Ligur
PLOT BUNNY: Secret spies. Hastur and Ligur come up to Earth to bother Crowley, but while waiting in St. James Park, they get mistaken for secret agents from a respectable country and their denials fall on deaf ears. So now they are both "secret agents" and feel obliged to run around for missions, although neither of them knows why they haven't just killed the lot of these weirdos and gone back to Hell.
RATING CHOICE TWO: G- M
PAIRING: Anyone
PLOT BUNNY: Good Omens, but with Daemons. In order to blend in as humans, the representatives of Hell and Heaven, respectively, are forced to create their own daemons. 6,000 years of a physical manifestation of a soul/Grace/Something and even immortals start getting attached. Basically, how Good Omens would look like with daemons added in.
RATING CHOICE THREE: G - M
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Angst, friendship, hurt/comfort, humor
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Sex, and that's about it.
5. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Wings
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Eden
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Crowley and Aziraphale doing each other’s jobs
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Fluff, h/c
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: ABO
6. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Crowley/Aziraphale. Arts. Show me them in an artistic environment and make me discover an art you like (painting, sculpture, writing, ballet, music… whatever!). Can be an AU if you like. Rating: up to the author.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Crowley/Aziraphale. Pirates. Can be an AU. Rating: up to the author.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Crowley/Aziraphale. Historical. I just love Historical Omens. Go for a time and a place you like. Rating: up to the author.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Friendship, asexual relationship or smut are fine. Fluff. Sweetness. Them being awkward and adorable.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Major character death. Crossover with SPN.
7. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale & Crowley. Aziraphale likes to do things the right way – cleaning his shirts, paying his taxes, etc – so when he gets it in his head that Crowley might find him more appealing if he was a bit more svelte, he tries dieting. Feel free to include wacky diets and a scene at the Ritz. Any rating
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Any GO cast members and OC as needed. “The Witchfinder Army had also accumulated various books and documents which, Newt suspected, would be worth a fortune if they ever hit the market.” What happens when Shadwell disbands the Army and puts its assets up for sale? Any rating.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale & Crowley, Sarah Young, OC as needed. Plot twist: Aziraphale succeeds in killing the antichrist and now Crowley has to help him hide the body from Heaven and Hell – AND the evidence from Adam Young’s vengeful older sister, Sarah. (If, unlike Aziraphale, you don’t have the heart to kill off an eleven year-old child, I’ll accept some form of incapacitation.) Any rating, dark humor welcome.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: fluff, wings, religious elements (parody is fine), exploration of relationships, original characters, non-gratuitous sex, actual historical or geographical elements.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Xover with SPN, nicknames for Aziraphale or Crowley
8. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale/Crowley, after some disastrous historical event that neither of them had a hand in, drunk and unhappy, but facing it with the same blunt questioning (on Crowley's part) and stubborn ignorance (on Aziraphale's) as they usually do. Hurt/comfort, Background/pre-relationship A/C, PG13 (or higher, depending on how much detail you go into about the event)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: The Horsepersons meet up sometime before the Apocalypse for trivia night and drinking. Maybe too much drinking. Found family/friendship fluff. Light hurt/comfort, maybe relating to Death having a slight distaste/apathy for his job. G-PG13
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Established relationship A/C, completely non-sexual intimacy. Naked cuddling, wing touching/grooming, etc. Optional banter. G.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Black comedy (though not throughout the entirety of the fic), hurt/comfort, wings, platonic cuddling, angst with a happy (or at least hopeful) ending, War portrayed as butch and powerful rather than making men fight with just her looks, well-developed OCs, character cameos, banter
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Miscommunication as a plot device, OOC for the sake of either comedy or angst, crack fics, explicit sex (at least for these prompts), noncanon nicknames, power imbalance of any kind, one-dimensional Horsepersons.
9. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Crossover of any type with Arthur Machen's The Great God Pan--including 'later incident involving a half-sibling of Helen's.' Any rating, Aziraphale/Crowley optional.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Classic weird horror/pulp horror genre style. Once again any rating & optional Aziraphale/Crowley.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Why Crowley is careful to distinguish himself from the more famous Aleister Crowley. Any rating, gen unless combining with choices one and/or two.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Worldbuilding, black and/or cracky humor, horror done well, pretty much all combinations of the above, and porn with plot.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Porn lacking plot, OOCness, the compulsion some people have to have romantic loose ends tied up, forced moods/endings/ratings/ships, A/B/O fics, and bad writing that is not even amusingly bad in general. Please ask about crack pairings, and please note: I am as much against forced low ratings as high.
10. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: What's the deal with the horsepersons? Are they angels? Demons? Another class of being altogether? Are there other, less popular horsepersons besides the "Big four"? Can humans actually become real horsepersons or were they just humoring the four bikers in the diner? How is Death different that he "can't be killed"? Did any of them retire like Pestilence did? Are there any new ones in the 21st Century? Basically, I want to see something creative done with the horsepersons that gets down to their "basic nature" and what they're like both as individuals and supernatural beings! Show me!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Death sees humans in their most raw and vulnerable state. And after millennia of comforting and escorting humans that have just suffered the most grievous thing that can happen to a human, he can't help but see why Aziraphale and Crowley would defend the Earth from the apocalypse.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: After the Notpocalypse, Crowley and Aziraphale start getting closer...but they find out together that Crowley has deep-seated trust issues triggered by something about Aziraphale that he can't help. They have to overcome it together. Hurt/comfort and angst but it must have a happy ending, please.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Wings, "true"/animal forms, torture/hurt/comfort, angst with a happy ending.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: casual sex, unhappy endings.
11. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: aziraphale/crowley, aziraphale teaching crowley how to waltz, crowley many years later teaching aziraphale how to dance to swing
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: aziraphale/crowley historical fic taking place somewhere like india or china? either before or after european occupancy i don’t mind
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: human au aziraphale/crowley. i know this is suuuuper overused but i’m such a sucker for crowley owning a flower shop! aziraphale can either own a bookstore like usual or something else! modern era would be cool for this too!!
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: humour!!!, religions elements (joking or otherwise), slow burn, fluff, historical settings, sarcasm or snark, art!, wings. anything goes really unless i don’t like the element!!
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: nsfw (unless it’s plot relevant i guess), noncon/dubcon, ooc, cis-swapping, tragic endings, Supernatural Crowley For The Love Of God, graphic or detailed violence/injury, uwu baby aziraphale
12. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale/Crowley, any rating, mistletoe shenanigans!! Do they keep getting caught under it? Has someone intentionally placed a bunch of mistletoe everywhere? Does it keep getting avoided? Anything goes, as long as mistletoe is involved!!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: The whole cast minus the Horsepersons (I like them, I just think they might not fit well for this prompt!), any rating, the cast has a snow day!! How does Dog react to seeing snow for the first time? Who wants to go out, and who wants to stay warm inside? What happens when the Them starts a snowball fight? Background pairings of Aziraphale/Crowley and Anathema/Newt are fine but not required; I'm just hoping for something fun with the cast!!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale/Crowley, any rating, something involving slow dancing together with no music!!
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: FLUFF, cute and sappy romantic stuff, hurt with a lot of comfort, wings, Crowley being a big dork, seasonal elements, some implied/light smut is fine
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Angst without a happy ending, graphic descriptions of violence/injuries, major character death, crossovers with Supernatural, noncon, overly descriptive smut
13. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: War/Pollution, doing "housework".
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: War/Famine, food poisoning.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale/Crowley, molting season.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: I'm mostly vanilla, but I am into intense devotion, smearing own blood over the other, smearing blood over each other, ritual sacrifice of body parts, doing stuff with bone marrow and bones, and affectionate hand holding.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Digestive system related behaviours and fluids, spanking, non-con.
14. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Crowley's coworkers from Down There seriously mess up in the magic department and that results in Crowley being stuck in his snake form for some time and completely unable to use his powers (he can still speak though). Honestly, everything is up to your imagination, but I'd love it if there are some bookshop shenanigans involved (e.g. a client walks in while Aziraphale and Crowley are speaking)
Humour is more than welcome.
Pairing: A/C or no pairing. (I'm fine with either)
Rating: G, PG, PG-13, R.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: The Horsepersons and the Them hanging out! They could be doing anything - from doing homework together to having fun with destroying the Earth.
Wensleydale and Famine, Brian and Pollution, Pepper and War, Adam and DEATH respectively (you can always change the order though!)
Pairing: No pairing.
Rating: G, PG, PG-13
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale is learning to dance, Crowley notices, and they practise together in the bookshop.
Must involve romance!
Pairing: A/C
Rating: PG-13, R.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Fluff, humour, snark, cuddles and hugs, wings, snakes and Crowley showing affection towards his houseplants (in his own way...)
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Pairings with kids, explicit sex, humiliation.
15. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale/Crowley, rose rustling/horticulture AU! Rose rustlers are ppl who search for the lost breeds of roses, mostly in old gardens of monasteries, mansions etc. The respectable ones ask permission, but sometimes it becomes an adventure a-la Indiana Jones. Now, A.J. Crowley wants to get his hands on the beautiful roses in an old well-guarded abbey garden, but when diplomacy and stealth both fail, it seems like the only way to get there is to seduce the stuffy priest guy…
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Literally anything set in medieval Girona, I'm in love with this wonderful town.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: It's a long shot, but I would love you forever if you made The Sentinel AU about Shadwell and Madame Tracy.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: humour, happy/open endings, food & related kinks, chub & related kinks, art deco, subtlety
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: power imbalance in ships, humiliation & related kinks, too much angst or violence
16. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Agnes Nutter’s life before what we see in the book!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Anathema (I’m in a witchy mood), I’d love to see younger Anathema and what kinds of things she liked to do as a child.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Adam meets Santa Claus. The real one. Adam’s a special kid, after all, so he’d know an imposter from the real thing.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Humor, happy endings, historical elements (although I don’t expect complete historical accuracy, especially in the Agnes Nutter one, no worries!)
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Gore (I’m sure Agnes wreaks some havoc but no gruesome details please!), angst endings
17. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Newt and Anathema don't work out romantically - but that doesn't mean they can't still live together. (platonic Newt/Anathema)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: The rest of The Them age. Adam doesn't.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Crowley and music
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Honestly do whatever your heart says
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: No smut please! I also don't like Pepper/Adam or any other inter-Them ships very much.
18. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Ship: Aziraphale/Crowley, romantic or QPP. Prompt: Aziraphale or Crowley manage to contract a human illness, and the other one has to care for him. Can be as minor or as serious as you like, as long as there is no death or sad ending. Bonus points for throwing other Good Omens characters in to try to help and/or be nuisances. Especially if those other characters are Newt and Anathema. Rating: T or under
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Ship: No real preference. Prompt: Autistic characters. I'm thinking of Newt and/or Anathema, but I'm open to other characters as well (including non-human characters of the good guy variety, such as Az and Crowley). Go wild. Rating: T or under
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Ship: Aziraphale/Crowley, romantic or QPP. Prompt: Anything with Adam hanging out with Crowley and Aziraphale post-Armageddon't. Especially if he treats them like his weird uncles and asks them for advice and help on things they know nothing about. Rating: T or under
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Hurt/Comfort, angst with a happy ending, humor, asexual relationships, QP partners, autistic headcanons, found families, creative use of tropes, Awkward!Crowley and Oblivious!Aziraphale
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Any sexual content, any kink content, character death, angst with no happy ending.
19. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale/Crowley, changing gender throughout history (like, they weren't guys for all their lives), I don't know for the rating, maybe T?
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Crowley (with a little bit of Crowley/Aziraphale?), with babies, rating K or T?
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale/Crowley, in FRANCE ha ha, rating K or T?
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Crowley calling A "angel", Aziraphale calling Crowley "my dear" ^^
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: rape, incest, pedophilia…
20. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Crowley X Aziraphale (doesn't have to be romantic), Crowley takes Aziraphale shopping so he will FINALLY own some decent, modern clothing
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Crowley X Aziraphale (doesn't have to be romantic), Crowley tries to teach Aziraphale how to drive so he will FINALLY stop complaining over Crowley's driving style
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Crowley X Aziraphale (doesn't have to be romantic), human!AU in which Aziraphale runs a bookshop (nothing new) and Crowley runs a flower shop right opposite of it and they have made it a tradition to compete over customers. There's a "no flowers" sign at the bookshop and Crowley uses torn-out book pages to wrap up his flowers. They steal each other’s christmas decorations. You know, things like that.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: fluff and banter, I prefer top!Crowley SHOULD there be smut
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: character death, breaking up, generally sad or angsty things without happy endings, non-con
21. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: The Them / a Dr. Seuss-like adventure-version!! <3
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Aziraphale / obsessing over the Beauty and the Beast, He says it's ok and that it’s a quite simple book/movie, but in reality can't stop making references about it…
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Crowley plus trees / Crowley finds himself in the middle of a thick forest, He CAN’T get out of it as he is roaming the lands outside Eden for the first time and ends up talking to trees, chatting and complaining until finally the trees decided to guide him out of the forest. Several Millennia later, Crowley and Aziraphale having a picnic in the exact same spot, Crowley doubts having been there before until certain wooden folks start whispering his secrets. (idk maybe some elvish opera was involved or something)
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Mystery, adventure,Fluff!! feel free to change genders and physical description as you please, i may have wrote "him" but that doesn't keep anyone from being a "HER", Happy endings.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: non consent.
22. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale and Crowley (can be shippy, any rating) travelling to a new country and trying interesting dishes. Go wild.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Aziraphale/Crowley. Any rating. Notable moments of hand kissing throughout their history. Any rating.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale/Crowley. Aziraphale receives his first spam, one advertising Viagra. Does he reply to it? Complain to Crowley? Maybe he needs a demonstration about its effectiveness? (Any rating, though would prefer something higher).
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: humour, literary references, fluff, smut, Crowley being a dork
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: mpreg, genderbending, death fic
23. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: I would love something to do with a very sleepy Crowley interacting with Aziraphale. Or anything concerning sleeping or falling asleep, too. Rating: T
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: An outside perspective, or how Aziraphale and Crowley appear to bystanders, how they stand out/blend in. The impressions they make. A/C, T.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Some good old hurt/comfort, perhaps something involving a hug. In whatever form or shape. A/C, T.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Crowley trying to cover up his doubts with sarcasm, wings, clothing peculiarities. Crowley's snake traits.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Anything very explicit or drastic/heavily angsty.
24. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Crowley and Aziraphale go to Spain. Can be a specific place or just traveling across the country. Bonus points for reminiscing about something that happened centuries ago. Crowley/Aziraphale if you feel like it.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: The Witchfinder army on patrol. Who or what do they encounter?
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Something centered around the bookshop.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Slice-of-life, dressing up, dancing.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: None in particular.
25. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: What if Aziraphale & Crowley tended to linger around Britain long before London was even a thought in anyone's mind? And the story of the Great Deluge is just their overly excited, affectionate (and perhaps drunken) retelling of the time when Doggerland sunk beneath rising sea levels (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doggerland) ?
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Someone figures out how to summon a demon. They get Crowley. Not what they bargained for - or is he?
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: At some point, young Anathema had to have realised the Book never mentioned anything set to happen after a certain date. How did she react?
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Death making an appearance; any examples of "not proper demonic activity"; humor; plot twists; wings; books; houseplants; instruments of witchcraft
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: no plot all romance; sexual themes; internet or social media related stuff being mentioned/used, especially in the case of non-human characters (sorry it really distracts me from the fic/art)
26. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale, Crowley, the Cotton library. For a starter on how important/interesting/complete Aziraphale-bait the Cotton library is, check out Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cotton_library). I think this is my third year asking for this? Come on people, rare books librarianship is exciting!!!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Not a songfic, but I keep thinking about Edges of the World from Fun Home (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in_ZRAguDLQ; tw suicide). That mix of despair, and terror, and knowing there's a potential for something wonderful and beautiful on the other side of that terror. That sense of the world you knew being totally uprooted, and not feeling equipped to handle that, because of age, fear, temperament (the edges of the world that held me up have gone away/and I'm falling into nothingness/or flying into something so sublime). But obviously with a happy ending, because I'm not into bad things being bad forever. This song is on my list of songs that have nothing at all to do with Good Omens (particularly Crowley) that nonetheless to me feel like an emotional place that Crowley has lived, you know? On the other hand, you could totally take this in another direction and make it about house renovations lol!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: throwaway historical fic prompt :) Give me something from the past! Something interesting. I love me some historical revolutions but I think France's half-dozen or so have been rather overdone in fandom, so try me with something else. I would love something set in Asia, but like, tastefully and respectfully done because it is the year of our lord 2017. I'd rather NOT see historical American anything, I am overdosed on the US right now. If you’re most comfortable writing historical things from North America, crack open some of Canada's fine period dramas and try that instead :P But honestly any setting you feel comfortable writing in and that you can't think of eight other fics set there, go for it!
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Aziraphale as nuanced satire of British imperial academia, Crowley as competent anxious wreck, well-researched historical references. I love little details that show intimate knowledge of a subject, but I love little moments of emotional intimacy as well. I love a strong sense of place, that sense of being deeply rooted. I like Aziraphale/Crowley as a pairing, but I also like platonic friendship and I'm open to the idea that A & C had relationships with people other than each other (I know not everyone is, so…thought I'd mention it). Crowley's secondary colour scheme isn't red, it's green.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Non-canonical nicknames for Aziraphale, rape, BDSM, mpreg, ABO, crossovers unless otherwise requested, AUs unless otherwise requested, over the top weepy anybody, "issue fic"/The After School Special, anything to do with anyone overdramatically falling from anyplace (unless it's cats, then okay, sure). I'm not into the radio play and I'm probably not going to be into the miniseries so you know, book canon. It's good. It's what Aziraphale would want. Honestly I'm not super into very graphic, very kinky fic generally, so don't feel pressured to include sexual content if you don't want to.
27. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale/Crowley; petty domestic annoyances that accrue over time, and how to resolve them; any rating
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Bryan/Wensleydale; ADULTING IS HARD; any rating
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale & Anathema (platonic); discussing their adorable-and-often-irritating spouses (in whatever context or tone you wish, dear writer); rated G or T, I guess, but they can swear (and drink, probably) all you want
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Scene fills for missing canon moments, intimacy, domesticity, outsider points of view.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Over-the-top angst; Aziraphale and Crowley shipped with characters other than each other. Hardship that doesn't advance the plot or result in character growth of some variety.
28. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Adam Young (and the Them): Home Alone!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Aziraphale/Crowley, and the song the 12 days of Christmas, both literal and full of mishaps. Any rating.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Any of the immortals and something Napoleonic - wooden ships and cannon fire. Any rating.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: snark, slow build, found families
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: character death, cheating, pwp
29. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale/Crowley in the early stages of dating, fluffy and gushy because I love self-indulgence. G to PG-13-ish, A/C discussing having sex for the first time is good, but maybe a fade to black for anything *ahem* physically explicit.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Something like Aziraphale and/or Crowley at Pride, or interacting with some historical LGBTQ+ person/event/thing, or focus on their identity as gay/nonbinary/trans (dealer's choice). Human AU for this would also be very cool. G to PG-13-ish, likewise talking about sex is fine.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Anathema post-book, doing something cool like the smart-cookie she is. What's she doing with that PhD finally now she's not living her life according to a book? Bonus points for field work and galoshing through mud. G to PG-13-ish.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: I love Aziraphale POV/anything Aziraphale-centric.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: That trope where one character thinks the other being affectionate is obnoxious. Non/dubcon, rough sex.
30. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Good Omens meets Pacific Rim - all options all drifts.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Good Omens dramatis personae reacts to Good Omens tv cast
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Slow Dancing preferably Ineffable Husbands, could be other pairing, what about jazz era somewhere else (not England, not USA)
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: friendship, established canon, ineffable husbands, poc, friends to lovers
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: gore, vore omens
31. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Obligatory "book characters reacting to the TV show news" fic/art! Can be anyone (or everyone). Any rating.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Newt/Anathema fluff; Newt is awkward but everything turns out sweet and cute at the end. Any rating.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale and Crowley eats shabu shabu (hot pot) and commenting on it. Any rating.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Fluff, humour, Aziraphale/Crowley, reference to canon, angst/hurt/comfort
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: ABO, SPN!Crowley, mpreg
32. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Crossover with Shadowhunters
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Crowley is stuck in snake form … and unable to find/get to Aziraphale who is the only one he trusts to help turn him back
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Ancient Greece: Aziraphale has a mission in Sparta
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Friendship, hurt/comfort, historical detail ... anything that has a plot, really. I’m not a picky reader. Just …
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: ... stay away from porn for porn’s sake unless you’re one of the really great porn masters. (If the porn’s there for plot reasons, no problem, but you’ve got to be really good to sell me porn without a plot.)
33. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Something focused on London and Aziraphale & Crowley's time there. Can refer to the city's geography, culture, inhabitants, history, etc.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Respond: "If tomorrow is judgement day, and I'm standing on the front lines, and the Lord asks me what I did with my life, I'll say I spent it with you." (lyric is from "My Love Is Your Love" by Whitney Houston, but you don't have to reference the song, you can just take the words as a prompt if you'd rather)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale is the angel in the song "Centerfold" by the J. Geils Band. AU is okay. Probably a comedy, given the song's subject matter. ;)
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: A&C, asexual A/C, or QPP A/C. Angst, hurt/comfort, and/or fluff. Wings. Historical jokes/references. The nickname "Zira," if any. Any rating but E.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Sex. Sad endings. Aziraphale and Crowley not really getting along.
34. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Crowley/Aziraphale, Historical Happy Winter Holidays from around the world. Bonus if famous persons make an appearance! No real rating, surprise me! :)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: The Them grow up, become adults, lose touch and wonder if what they lived all those years ago was actually real. And then old friends and acquaintances show up. Rate as you will!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Crowley/Aziraphale, and a fluffy, fluffy night out. Just them, and eternity. If you can work some sexy times, I won't say no, but it's not an obligation :)
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: sappy romance, wing-kink, happy endings, puns or plays on words, historical references, in-jokes, good and wholesome feelings.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: non-con, gratuitous violence mostly. Otherwise, it's all good :)
35. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale/Crowley having to deal with human religious fanatics in ways that make them really uncomfortable - think of the scene in the book where Crowley thinks about certain Satanists the way a Vietnam vet feels about people who wear camouflage to Neighborhood Watch meetings or the one where Aziraphale accidentally winds up possessing Bagman the televangelist. I’d love it if there are shenanigans with each of them having to deal with the other side’s “fandom” while filling in for each other. Social commentary very welcome, as is the two of them being intimate. Any rating.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Something Anathema-centric and fun - maybe historical? Anathema in ancient Greece - her family's always been in the Oracle business? A steampunk AU with Anathema as an adventuress and Newt as a mad inventor who specializes in disaster? Victorian spiritualist table-tapper? Go wild, have fun. Any rating.
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Hastur/Ligur in history! We know they’ve been to earth before, if not as constantly as Aziraphale and Crowley. We know Hastur is a little more worldly than Ligur, and they are both masters of the Art of the Lurk. Make them sleazy, make them creepy, make us love them! Any time period, any rating.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: Humor, social satire, adventure, smut (and if you’re going that route, I adore funny sex), strong sense of place and setting, ensemble cast (for any of these ideas it would be great to have other GO characters pop up at any time), bantery dialogue, history, worldbuilding, romance, friendship.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: major character death (permanent), non-con, tragic endings, heavy unresolved angst, didactic issue-fic
36. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: Aziraphale/Crowley: Aziraphale and Crowley go to see fireworks for the first time during the Chinese Song Dynasty (any rating)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: Aziraphale/Crowley: an AU in the style of a trashy romance novel: Aziraphale is the reclusive noble who is swept off his feet by devilish rogue Crowley (play it as funny or as serious as you want and any rating welcome)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: Aziraphale/Crowley: ancient Greece AU Aziraphale is a temple priest and Crowley is a traveling merchant who keeps setting his shop up right outside the temple. At first they butt heads but end up falling in love the more they interact. Bonus points for Crowley bringing Aziraphale things he finds on his travels that he thinks Aziraphale would like (any rating)
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: hurt/comfort with a heavy emphasis on comfort, trans headcanons especially trans Aziraphale, both Aziraphale and Crowley being MOC, Aziraphale’s chubbiness as a positive, attractive thing, Aziraphale being shorter than Crowley, schmoopy sex scenes, fluff in general honestly, (I enjoy D/s but specifically Gentle Dom I’m not a big fan of painplay or punishment focused scenes)
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: graphic depictions of violence, abuse, or rape, needless or excessive angst, explicit bigotry, unhappy endings, Daddy Dom
37. PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE ONE: A/C– as high a rating as you like. Crowley is a disgraced heretical human nobleman fleeing the inquisition (Hastur and Ligur). Aziraphale is a Benedictine abbot who takes him in. A surprising semi-secret romance blossoms, but Crowley cannot stay in hiding forever. Adam Young is a local, very powerful prince. Extra points for libraries and Aziraphale having books the church probably wouldn’t want him to have. (Extra extra points for Aziraphale as an abbess and Crowley as a noble woman, but not obligatory)
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE TWO: A/C– any rating. Aziraphale is used to Crowley’s exes being dead historical figures, but one of them is still alive, albeit very aged and ailing, and gets back into contact with Crowley and Aziraphale. The three of them meet at the ex’s house. How do all the characters feel about this situation? How do immortals feel about losing mortals? What’s it like to know you have to say goodbye to someone who means a lot to you, but not in the same way they once did? The ex can be any gender. I don’t have too firm opinions on whether Crowley is gay or bisexual. I realize this is a setup for sad emotions, but don’t go too depressing on me! It’s the holidays!
PAIRING/PLOT BUNNY/RATING CHOICE THREE: A/C or A&C– any rating. In 2020, it is the 1000th anniversary of the arrangement, and one of the two suspects the other has forgotten, but the other in fact, has a big surprise. This can be an art prompt.
I LIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: budding relationship especially with awkwardness, established relationship and old married couple dynamic, exploring what it means to have a relationship with one’s body when one’s body can be shed and replaced, wacky hijinks in history, a/c as both women, the cozy feeling of winter mornings, doing levels of intimacy in untraditional order, and, alas, theology.
I DISLIKE THESE STORY ELEMENTS/KINKS: 1) ships involving the horsemen or the them, 2) excessively dark themes, 3) unintelligent or blushing maiden Aziraphale, 4) aggressive/controlling Crowley
