PROMPT: Arrangements begin as most things do: because a cat got involved. Any two characters (Crowley/Aziraphale, Hastur/Ligur, THEM, Lucifer/Michael, anyone!) get into an Arrangement to take care of a cat who clearly can not fend for itself because it's too cute.
NOTES: Omg the very idea of a cat and I couldn't resist! For some reason, this turned into a wacky little children's illustrated story of how the Horsepersons got together, and then another Arrangement snuck into the ending. Sorry that this particular kitty actually can fend for herself, unlike your request, but c'mon – Adorable cat! Supernatural beings helpless to resist her! I hope that's a reasonable alteration to make. :) (There are some details about names that I'm too tired to list right now, but clever people might suss it all out. Also, the kitty isn't really an ordinary cat, but that's another explanation for later. All background images of Patmos are based on the actual location.)
Mod note: The artist has divided this into three posts.

Long, long ago on the island of Patmos, lived a cat with a very special power... She was literally so adorable that no one could possibly resist her.
Even people who normally hated cats would stop and admire her, or pet her, or give her food. And this was a very good thing, because it meant she could help feed the man she had chosen as hers.
2.
Poor old John was always eating mushrooms and scribbling messages he heard from Metatron, and if it wasn't for his little kitty friend, John would have likely starved to death.
John called her Symphonia, even though that wasn't really her name. She didn't mind, because cats know exactly who they are and humans are just confused, so she accepted this as her name for now.
3.
One day, Symphonia was walking at the edge of town while John slept it off in his cave, and she met a strange man who wasn't really a man. The man-shaped being was called Pestilence, and he was dressed all in white robes. He was standing near a group of lepers who didn't seem to notice him at all, and he was completely clean, whereas they were filthy and disgusting.
When Pestilence noticed her, he gasped. "Oh, such an adorable kitty! I was just thinking of making a disease for cats. But you're too cute for me to hurt. I think you should stay healthy." Symphonia was glad to hear that, and she purred in approval.
4.
Pestilence decided to call her Rapha, although that was also not really her name. For a few days, she followed him around, watching as Pestilence smote humans with a plague of sores and illnesses. She made sure they never came close to John's cave.
Eventually, she slipped away and rejoined John, because he needed more food.
5.
A week later, Symphonia was wandering the hillside and she met a strange woman who wasn't really a woman. This woman-shaped being was named War, and she was dressed all in red armor. She was standing near a pile of dead humans who had killed each other, and she didn't have a single drop of blood on her.
When War saw her, she grinned. "Oh my goodness, what a precious kitty cat! I bet your sharp claws could hurt me if I tried to kill you. But that wouldn't be any fun. You're too cute to kill." Symphonia purred very loudly, extremely pleased at this decision.
6.
War decided to call her Pax, although that was not her real name either. For a few days, she followed War, watching as she whispered to people and caused them to fight each other. She made sure they never went near John's cave.
Eventually she snuck away from the fighting and found more food to take back to John.

Artist response!
Date: 2019-01-06 08:45 pm (UTC)I'm afraid the rest of her "names" are a little harder, unless you have Ancient Egyptian or Enochian dictionaries. But I've got the full notes written up for later.
