Title: But he who dares not grasp the thorn, should never crave the rose.
Recipient is: #2, silverfox
Pairings: Crowley X Aziraphale
Short description: Based on 'The Name of the Rose' by Umberto Eco. Aziraphale found "The Greek Book" but Crowley immediately noticed what was going on so he's holding Aziraphale by the wrist. I also couldn't help myself, since you wrote about cats, I also included a pair that resemble Aziraphale and Crowley (Crowley's tail is also protecting the two kitties). The tapestry in the background says "Stat rosa pristina nomine, nomina nuda tenemus" which is the last line in the book.

I love how expressive snake!Crowley's face looks! And the kitties are adorable! I'm not familiar with the work being crossed over, but I'm curious now and going to go look it up. (From Ri).

Oh, thank you so much, secret artist! I just love snake Crowley and the way he is protecting Aziraphale from inconvenient discorporation is simply perfect to illustrate their relationship. The kitties are absolutely adorable ... though one does wonder how they came to be there. ;)
