I enjoyed immensely creating these pictures for you, there were so many ideas flourishing every time I attempted to write something down so I decided to draw them instead.

Heaven and Hell have been competing over who wins more souls for their respective side over more years than anyone can count. Times change, and they have come across very interesting ways of getting new souls, such as religious syncretism and animal soul harvesting. No it’s not cheating, there is no divine law that prohibits it (at least heaven and hell have come to that agreement)

The campaign started focusing on those animals closer to humans. It is easy to understand if Toby has been a good or bad dog; for cats however, things get a little bit different. Felines happen to be elusive creatures even for supernatural beings like angels and demons, whatever attempt of steering them towards one side or the other results in failure or erratic behavior as best…

It is because cats are quite sensitive towards power and auras; a demon disguised as a cat will be easily spotted even by the more naive kittens. Angels couldn’t even properly pass as cats, must be the eyes or something about their voice.

So in order to get more answers:

Hell took the sinner’s blood and brewed a cat with it, the creature that emerged would lead a cat army to world destruction.

Heaven sang the prayers of a thousand martyrs to forge a cat star. When it crashed on earth It would make all the cats know the words for said song.

But not without proper training on how the world works first. What a shame for the company it was Aziraphale and Crowley who got assigned to guide them.

Estael, Diamond, Star, Marshmallow...

Estael visits Aziraphale from time to time. She is certain her visits make him a bit humble and more angelic. Estael was initially supposed to team up with Aziraphale and spread God's word together. But he lacked the catrisma and it was not letting that end its heavenly career so it decided to move on.

Estael is now the loving cat of not just one but two families. She attends church every Sunday.
She is also the star in the neighborhood cat caffe, her pictures on instagram go viral.

Puffy:

It introduced itself as Mephis, or rather spat its name at Crowley. It was supposed to learn some wicked ways from Crowley while "getting used" to earth.
Except it was nothing like the demonic being had expected, Crowley was insufferable. One day Mephis ran away never to step back near "that useless excuse for a demon" again.
Traffic lights, rainy days and starvation worked their magic. It was not a cat that seemed to care about evil deeds that much, it just wasn't worth it.

Now Mephis prefers the name Puffy, he spends his days beside an old woman with a twisted sense of humor and awesome tastes in T.V. He plays poker on wednesdays and shares his space with two other cats and a tiny dog.

I loved these cute cats. Particularly the expression on Aziraphale’s face when he discovered the ‘gift’ in his shoes, and in the last panel too - cats do love watching at awkward times. So sweet and funny!

This is SO FUNNY. The little face Estael makes above Aziraphale's book, distracting him from reading, TOTALLY angelic, right?! And she's so cute in the close-up! I love that she comes from a star :D
PUFFY THE CREATURE. I love him and I fear him. He is what we see when we wake up in the middle of the night.
The more realistic paintings of them are soooo cute and pretty! And then that last one XD
I am going to be thinking about "Heaven shot a star, Hell brewed a creature" for a long time. They're both somehow such good descriptions of ALL cats, even though these two are, of course, the MOST special!
