Happy Holidays
dwightsredshoes!
title: Snapshots
i. "Look! Mistletoe!"
ii. "You have to see this!"
gift recipient:
dwightsredshoes
author/artist:
klena
Summary: We have Famine/Pollution. It's almost gen, the slash is so faint!
i. Is Pollution teasing Famine about the mistletoe above their heads and
pouting for his kiss XDD Famine considers whilst holding a MEALS(tm) drink.
^_^;;
ii. Is Pollution all excited and young dragging Famine off to see some oil
spill or nuclear dust cloud or some other disaster in nature, ha ha!
Rating: Um...I guess PG?
author's/artist's notes: I want to apologise for how awful this is!
My poor recipient - I'm so sorry! There were more images planned but there
was an ink incident. Woe. -_- So, instead I was left with these - so I'm
sorry and happy holidays? ^_^;;;;

Date: 2005-12-06 06:34 am (UTC)I think these are both great pieces. You have so much characterization that comes through in their movements and their expressions. I like that they're visually different -- with Pollution as the long-tousle-haired blond and Famine as the clipped-every-hair-in-its-place brunette. It makes for a nice interpretation.
Also, now I want to know! Does Pollution get his kiss? And where are they going? What will they see?
thanks so much for these!

Date: 2005-12-06 10:49 pm (UTC)Thanks for your really kind words - personally I have issues with everything I draw ^_^ I felt that all of the 'Hell's Angels' should look entirely different and also - it's just plain fun drawing long haired boys! I'm glad you like my interpretation.
Of course Pollution gets his kiss - he can be very demanding. And Famine's being dragged along to see Pollutions handiwork on a nearby fuel truck near a river.
Thanks for letting me participate! ^_^

Lovely, Secret Artist!

Date: 2005-12-06 10:50 pm (UTC)*grins* Thanks! It's my first time ever drawing them. And ink is very unforgiving. There were more but there was a spill. Pollution would have been proud!
Thank you!

Date: 2005-12-06 09:48 pm (UTC)I can only imagine how long all that hatching must have taken you, phew! And I love the characterisations, how Pollution is so childish and Famine is so semi-stoic (just as I picture them! :D). And the little detail of the drink made me crack up. Many hearts ensue, or would if livejournal didn't hate it when I post them.
Thank you so much! :D :D Happy Holidays. ♥

Date: 2005-12-06 10:53 pm (UTC)The hatching was fun! I've never really used hatching so it was a learning experience - and something different which was awesome. Funny enough, that's how I imagine them both to be too - considering how Pollution is refered to as a 'boy' during GO itself. ^_^ The drink had to go in there somewhere - it just had to!
You are so very very welcome! I'm glad it was OK! Happy Holidays to you too!
