Title: Revelation
Artist: [livejournal.com profile] quantum_witch
Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley
Rating: R/PG-13
Notes: Slash. Crowley/Aziraphale. tea, books, revelations, snark, dry humor. Managed to get most of the prompts in, though a bit lopsidedly. Sorry it turned out only R rated instead of NC17 [mea culpa]."

Happy Holidays, [livejournal.com profile] mediasavant, from your Secret Artist!

This is great - I love the slick way you drew Crowley, and that fanged grin, and the ending. And footnotes. In art.

*GLEE*!

Omg, this is so much *fun*. I second the "OMG FOOTNOTES IN ART!" joy, and I adore how you draw both of them - I love that Aziraphale actually does look middle-aged, pudgy, and gay as a treeful of monkeys on nitrous oxide, while Crowley looks... oh goddamnit, my mental dictionary is not rebooting, I shall refer to him as spangly :D.

*snuggles*

Love this!

I love your style. I think my favourite part is the "Avenging Angel Claw of Doom."

OMG. I think I may have just fallen in love.

And Crowley is so snake-like in his last panel that it's scary! XD

... And thus Crowley was decapitated by paper-cut! *giggle*

Oh, the way you draw Crowley is so serpentine and his shit-eating grin is just LOVELY!

I find that in these cases, it's best not to speculate. Particularly with demonic beings, the possibilities are too horrific to imagine. Let's call his shit-eating grin "ineffable", shall we? :P

OUCH. I'd say poor Crowley, but he really kind of deserved it. Inspired!

Oh my goodness, I love this. Cracked up out loud and everything! Your style is just fantastic; you're so great with the facial expressions and posing! I'd like to reiterate the footnote love; also, the text of the quoted passage itself is a thing of beauty.

Foot notes!! She managed to get a footnote in a comic strip--I LOVE it!

All the little bits, the hint of fangs in Crowley's patented tormenter's grin(TM), his exceedingly serpentine body, "Creatures of HABIT"??? and not only the avenging angel claw of doom but his expression as he's surprised and of course the ending...how WILL Crowley explain discorporation THIS time by paper cut decapitation Downstairs???

>Footnotes (in proper doses) are vital to anything GO related :)<

True but you worked them into a visual medium. I am covered with awe and jealous rue!

>*groan*<

We aims to torture, ma'am...ahem.

>I remembered the comic that did footnotes. Bordered on insulting. Not sure whether to post a link or not (since this is post is about my picture, and not someone else's...)<

Hmm, in that case better not. This IS about YOUR post and I've certainly seen footnotes in professional graphic novels, ,just not in fannish ones until yours. Fun and shouldn't be "insulting".

Brilliantly funny. I love the very snakey way you've drawn Crowley (and, of course, the Avenging Angel Claw of Doom).

that Avenging Angel Claw of Doom...

this is so well done!

I love the premise here. And both your A and C are fabulously conceptualized. I can just see them both, in all their complexities, so clearly in your renderings.
