Prompt: 'Crowley/Aziraphale; Aziraphale's having some trouble with his telephone
(and miracling technology to work properly isn't exactly his forte), so he decides to try to contact Crowley through his television set. As he looks out from the television in Crowley's apartment, he sees...something. (Nothing sexually explicit please, but otherwise, whatever you think would make an interesting story.) G-PG13'
Artist Notes: I apologise for getting it in my head to ruin this with colour, and for the lack of consistency in the drawings. If it helps, think of this as a visual Christmas cracker joke; a bit iffy and makes you groan.

Love chubby Aziraphale, love his flippy hair. Love Crowley actually sleeping in his sunglasses. And really love the old-fashionedness of everything Aziraphale has, right down to the bulb of insight over his head.

And I really love you comparing it to a Xmas cracker. (I need to buy more of those for next year.)

Thank you, glad you liked it. Funnily enough it was easier to draw all Aziraphale's old fashioned bits and bobs than it was to draw Crowley's super modern flat, I spent a while going through Google image search trying to find something appropriately flashy to model it on.
Buy more crackers for now, it's a shame they only get used once a year.

So much cute! I love it. Aziraphale is adorable. I love the way you've drawn him and his various frowny expressions. And Crowley sleeping on his sofa with a note on his blanket and glasses askew is super cute. I really really love the little things--the gravestone in the telephone's speech bubble, the holly leaves on Aziraphale's question mark, and how it's actually the halo above the lightbulb that's all lit up. Thank you so much, Secret Artist, this is an awesome gift!

I'm really glad you liked it, I was worried that having Crowley asleep was a bit of a cop out. I did (briefly) consider drawing him having tea with the local WI, but I figured it probably wouldn't work without some sort of text explanation.
Poor Aziraphale, he's really not feeling the spirit of the season here.

Love Aziraphale, his pudginess, his expressions; Crowley asleep on the sofa with his little "wake me in April" sign the whole idea of Aziraphale using the TV screen. Cute as a button!

Shhhh! Don't bring logic into this.
Perhaps he figured that Aziraphale would eventually come round to the flat to find him anyway? Maybe all the plants are tucked up in bed (the one next to the sofa is being punished for being straggly).
Maybe Hastur has turned his beloved bed into something awful in revenge?
Who knows? (Not me, that's for sure.)

Ha yes. Oh he won't say anything just yet but when Crowley does eventually wake up it will be to snippy conversation and Aziraphale's third best biscuits over tea (ones without chocolate and that break off in your cup and sink to the bottom).
