HAHA! Kind of makes you wonder who'll win - Crowley (who'll cheat), Aziraphale (who knows all the words, let's face it), Adam (who could change all those words) or Death (because he wins everything in the end).

I love :D

--Odd Teams--

"That's not a word!"

"Ronk is so a word!"

"He's right, angel. It's a word."

"Prove it."

"Right here, in the diction'ry."

"That wasn't there before!"

"Was so."

"Excuse me, but I'm fairly certain I know the Oxford English Dictionary back to front."

"Not this edition. It's new."

"How new is new, Adam?"

"He's got you there, angel. It's in the book."

"Whose side are you on?!"

"CAN'T ARGUE WITH THE BOOK."

"*exasperated sigh*"

--New Rule--

"You can't use that word."

"Why not?

"It's Latinate."

"That isn't a rule, Crowley."

"Yes, it is, it's right there on the inside of the lid. Read the rule, Adam."

"*bored yawn* Number two: No for'n words."

"Thank you. You see, angel?"

"*sigh*."

--Not so Gen--

"D-e-b-a-u-c-h-e-d. That's 60 points."

"And how did you come to have eight letters?"

"Are you accusing me of cheating?"

"Well, nature is as nature does, my dear."

"Listen, angel--"

"Save it for the bedroom, guys."

"Adam!"

"YES, THAT'S ENOUGH. C-U-R-R-Y, DOUBLE WORD SCORE, EIGHTY POINTS, GAME TO ME. NEW MATCH?"

"*hurried fake snoring*"

"Actually, since Adam's asleep...I think the angel and I have something to discuss. In private."

"We do? And, Adam's faking."

"Am not!"

"Yes. We do."

"Oh. Oh. Er. Okay. Nice game, thank you very much for coming--"

"Yes, they can show themselves out, goodbye."

--

Er, well, that's how their game went in my head. And, thank you ♥

I wish I could see the words that are on there!

I think this is such a great idea for an art piece.

nice work!

Thank you very much, but the idea was in the prompt, after all. It was little work to put it together.

The first word is lascivious, and as you can see it's ten letters, I'm sure you can guess who opened play. The second word is CURRY; the third word is adjudges, and the last word is apples. Just for your curiosity.

Secret Artist, that is gorgeous! Thank you!

I love how they're all looking expectantly at Adam, and the background is great. And they all look fantastic, although I think Death might be my favorite. XD

Like [livejournal.com profile] waxbean said, I'd love to know what words those four have put on the board, but it's fun to try and guess, too. ;)

Thanks again for the lovely work!

Thank you; I'm just glad you do like it.

Death's my favorite, too. And surprisingly, he was easiest to draw as well. Who would have guessed? I must confess that I liberally applied copy-and-paste on the background, but as recompense I did every Scrabble board square individually!

To see what the words are, see my above comment; if you'd like to continue guessing then don't look ;)

Happy holidays. I'm glad you like it.

Great eye for detail - are those extra letters I spot between Crowley's fingers?

Come now, would Crowley of all people cheat?...

How Death manages to inspire the "aww" response, we'll never know. (awww!)

Hee, I love this. What a quartet . . . that's intimidating!

I particularly love Adam's angelic blondeness and boredom, contrasted with, well, DEATH. Crowley and Aziraphale are nicely juxtaposed as well, equal opposites. The style, with its blend of realism and painting, reminds me a little bit of John Bolton's work. Bravo!

That's freakin' adorable. I love how Aziraphale and Crowley look (they really look like they belong in the modern world, in the same universe) and the nonchalant positions of Death and Adam are terrific! Beautiful background, too!
