Artist: A Secret!

Pairing/Characters: Aziraphale/Crowley, the Horsepersons (as you may have never seen them before!
Artist's Notes: I jumped at the chance to do Aziraphale/Crowley femslash. And then the rest of the page was looking empty, so I threw in genderswapped versions of the Horsepersons as well. (Yes, DEATH is flipped too. Can't you tell?)

Happy Holidays, [livejournal.com profile] snakelady88, from your Secret Artist!

And welcome, everyone, to the 2009 Exchange!

This is just plain fun! Gender swaps are so routine I'd think they'd have become a challenge to pull of with flare. This one succeeds with all the amusing detail packed in: Aziraphale's starry midnight dress that STILL manages to look somehow a bit frumpy and matronly, Crowley's seductively single-strap gown in pale green--to complement his yellow eyes and with the snake twist arm bracelet. Famine in a black sleeveless and appropriately skinny pendent necklace looks oddly a bit more rounded than I'd expect but attractive in a Gaiman's Desire kind of way. The Endless analogy continues in War, so surprisingly burly and hearty in her transformation she reminds me of Destruction, right to the red beard and lumberjack ax. Pollution looks so young, the spilling is almost natural and Death in bird for with his night wings, and both his scythe and a bundle of mistletoe in his teeth is just hilarious!
